Only 3 days to go ...

Only 3 more days to get your layouts in for the "ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING" challenge.  The gallery is looking great so far, with loads of different ideas on this title.   It has been great to see all the different interpretations!  Don't forgot that there is $150 worth of fabulous  goodies to be won by a lucky draw - what are you waiting for???

Winter is on its way - time to scrap again!!

It has been a while since I have been able to blog due to computer issues - but I am back so hopefully it is good timing with a change in the weather.  Today is raining and it actually makes me happy.  Weird I know - but I don't have to feel guilty for being inside scrapping!!! 

Here is one of my latest little layouts about Holly.  I have been back into little clusters around photos lately, funny how you have fads isn't it?  I have used the reverse side of a BoBunny paper, the diecut and photo mat are from the LYB range.  Title is a hero arts acrylic stamp which has been coloured in. And my little twirly bits with the cluster are made from the Daisy Bucket Shimmer Tape.  Which you can stamp, shred and create with.  It works a lot like curling ribbon, but with many more possiblities. 

Started the Stamp and Ink Tech course last night and had a great group of ladies come along for Week One.  We spent time going through all the many, many types of inks and created a couple of cards along the way.  Samples from this class can be seen on the class website.  Next week we are working on stamping, embossing and colouring with water colour pencils.

Showcasing some new products!

Hello everybody, hope you are all enjoying the beautiful sunshine and holiday season. We've had a few new products instore over the Christmas season.

From Sandylion this fab new 'Step Aside' range from Rouge de Garance, a great vibrant range for those boys or teen layouts. I made up a couple of samples for the shop, this first one being a copy from the Rouge de Garance website, I loved the page thought it showcased most of the paper colours in stock.

This next one I used one of the accents we have instore from Meri Meri, I loved this skater boy embellishment and it went perfectly with this paper range. Unfortunately I did not have an appropriate pic so I used a random person on the sample rather than an actual photo.

Now toning it down a little and getting all girly..... I just adore this new range from Heather Bailey. This collection is called 'Freshcut' and is put out by Autumn Leaves. Heather has a range of papers, chipboard, ribbons, felt trims, embellishments, stamps, inks, rub-ons and stickers.

I have completed 4 layouts using this range, one being for an upcoming class which I can't show at this point. Here are the other 3:

My Little Owl Page Is Finished!

Well, as promised I mentioned that I would post with the end result of what I did with my little chipboard Collection's owl. I decided to put him on a layout and when I was sitting contemplating a title I thought of the perfect one for my daughter.

Here is the end result:

This weekend I have been a busy beaver making some samples for upcoming classes in the shop. I having been playing with some Pearl-ex powder and the cuttlebug. We are making a start on some Xmas Card Classes starting September.
