Today I'm going to share with you a quick & easy way to print different sized photos at home.
First of all open up your "My Pictures" folder & select the photos you want to print.
**Note: to select a series of photos click on the first photo, then hold the SHIFT key & click on the last photo in the series.
OR to choose a random selection of photos click on the first photo & then click on each of your other photos while holding down the CTRL key.
Then click on "Print the Selected Pictures" link in the left hand column under "Picture Tasks"
Once you have done this the print wizard will open.
Click on the NEXT button. This will take you to a new window to choose your printer settings.
Click on PRINTER SETTINGS if you need to change your paper size or paper type.
(I use A4 matt paper for home printing purely to avoid finger prints - I believe that the gloss paper gives a better finish & use gloss 6x4 paper with tabs when I run out of A4.
I always use the "BEST" setting if I'm printing pics at home.)
Once you have your printer settings sorted, click the NEXT button, this will take you to the next page where you choose your photos (if you didn't select specific photos at step 1, you can do it now by clicking or unclicking the check button at each photo).
* I always choose specific photos before clicking the "Print Selected Photos" button because I usually have over 500 (closer to 1000) photos in each folder & selecting my photos eliminates the wait of having every photo from the folder loaded into the wizard.
Click the NEXT button to take you to the most exciting page of the tutorial :o)
Use the scroll bar on the side of the "Available layouts" box to choose the size of the prints you want. The options vary from a full A4 page, right down to 9 wallets size prints on your A4 page.
You can also select the number of times you want each photo printed - which might come in handy when it comes time to create your Christmas Cards ;o)
Finally, click the NEXT button to print your photos.
And you're done.
I hope you find this info helpful.
